Cambridgeshire Community Reuse and Recycling Network – CCORRN, is a local community organisation based in March, Cambridgeshire. One of CCORRN’s projects is Cambridgeshire Community RePaint which is run by a small team of staff and volunteers, who collect, sort, test and redistribute low cost paint in order to brighten the lives of others.

Originally CCORRN Community RePaint was only open to those on low incomes and community groups however due to demand and just in time for spring CCORRN has now opened it’s doors to everyone.

In addition to the new membership scheme CCORRN has also expanded its services to include:

·         A revamped and enlarged paint sales area - three times as much paint to choose from

·         Sales of low cost paint brushes and rollers

·         A bespoke mixing and colour matching service called Re-Mixed by CCORRN

·         Community ‘Get Painted’ Scheme for community groups; every month up to 240 litres of paint will be donated to nominated local community and sports groups to improve their facilities for beneficiaries.

·         Paint Finder and Reserve Service

·         Now open six days a week Mon-Sat 10am - 3pm

Cambridgeshire Community RePaint is part of a network of more than 60 organisations across the UK that collect unwanted, surplus paint and re-distribute it to individuals, families and communities in need, improving the well-being of people and the appearance of places.

If you need paint to re-decorate your home, or if your charity or community group premises could use a lick of paint, call CCORRN Community RePaint on 0845 602 7144 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. In 2011, householders, traders and paint manufacturers donated 343,957 litresof paint to Community RePaint schemes, which then distributed 217,112 litres to community groups and individuals saving 565 tonnes of CO2 – the equivalent of taking 192 cars off our roads.

(Quote from Councillor Virginia Bucknor) “CCORRN Community RePaint scheme is a simple, local solution to the problem of waste paint, removing what is reusable and bringing colour to the lives of those who need it the most. After all paint is better on walls than down the drain or in landfill.”
